Life eventually shifted, and I moved back home, becoming a wife and mother. In the beauty and responsibility of building a life for everyone else, I realized I had once again lost pieces of myself. As I looked around, I saw so many other women carrying that same quiet ache.
It was during that time that my best friend and I found ourselves having the same conversations, feeling the same pull for something more. There was a bond between us—one built on honesty, trust, and a shared understanding of what it felt like to lose and long for pieces of ourselves. We both knew we wanted more out of life, more out of womanhood, and more for ourselves than just going through the motions.
